After over 40 years of trading, the Flooring and Carpet Centre in Kingsteignton is one of the oldest and most respected family run businesses in the Newton Abbot, Torquay, Teignmouth, Shaldon and Dawlish area.
Run by brothers Gary and Kevin Loader they have experienced all the carpet and flooring trends, styles, ranges, finishes and functionalities. They have a keen eye for ‘what works’ either for your carpets and flooring project for your home or any other exciting project you have in mind.
Lisa is another of the friendly Flooring and Carpet Centre showroom team. She has a background in interior design and brings enthusiasm and helpful advice to give customers just what they want, even if they didn’t know exactly what it was before they visited the showroom.

Flooring technology has moved on remarkably over the years, particularly with ‘Lino’ which was seen as a cheap option for kitchen flooring and bathroom floors only. Manufacturers such as Karndean Designflooring now make superb wood and tile effect flooring with textured finishes that replicate wood and stone perfectly. Of course the benefit of price, usability and it’s speed to lay are making options like this very popular. In our showroom we have the largest range of Karndean flooring in the Torquay, Kingsteignton, Newton Abbot, Teignmouth, Shaldon and Dawlish area.
Carpet design has also moved on dramatically and there are some really cool modern designer carpet brands to make your home or office really stand out from the crowd. A full range of more traditional carpet options are also available to view in our Kingsteignton showroom.
